For example, your data could contain a programming script. Many progamming scripts contain characters such as less than/greater than signs, ampersands etc, which would cause problems for the XML processor.

CDATA allows you to escape the whole block of text. This eliminates the need to go through the whole script, individually replacing all the potentially problematic characters. The XML processor knows to escape all data between the CDATA tags.

You’ve read all of the books on the Theory of Constraints and heard of the terrific successes other achieve with this method. You may be wondering what a real implementation looks like. I’ve led nearly 100 implementations and have seen a wide range of companies.

All implementations of the Theory of Constraints will follow this general pattern: procedure development, education, implementation, [LOOK AT THE BOTTOM LINE!], procedure and policy refinement, re-education and re-implementation. Implementations are fun and staggering in the bottom line results they achieve.

What can you expect in your implementation?

It’s difficult to give a specific answer to that question, since every organization is different. In general, the implementation goes like this:

* Enthusiastic changing of some policies

* Unbelievably positive improvement

* Less enthusiastic changing of more policies and procedures

* Positive improvement

* The constraint moves to an area not addressed by the initial implementation.

* Pretty good improvement

* Results level off

* Management looks elsewhere to improve

Most theory of constraints implementations in manufacturing are completed in less than 2 years. The plant is now running like clockwork, costs are down, performance is up. The constraint is no longer in manufacturing. The focus of the business and the improvement projects must now shift to external issues. So, rightfully so, the attention of the organization moves to other areas, not in manufacturing.

However in those 2 years you’ve implemented, your business will change in ways you can’t possibly imagine today. Your performance will level off at a much higher level of performance you are enjoying today. How about a 43% annual ROI? Could you sit there awhile? I know a company that did. How about taking your order fulfillment cycle from 3 weeks to 3 hours and stalling there? I know another company that did that.

The first stage of the implementation will be like housecleaning, with many constraints that you identify and then quickly break. Each time you break one, results improve. This period lasts about 90 days. Eventually, you’ll find a constraint that will be difficult to break. Might be the market. Might be the product. Might be a $2 million machine.

Then comes the hard work. Implementing the system to exploit and subordinate will take longer than the quick results you’ve been getting up until now. If you don’t prepare for it, the implementation can get bogged down here. This phase may take 30 days; it might take 6 months. It’s at this time the commitment you’ve gained in the prior steps will pay off. It’s not really that fun implementing a scheduling process and dealing with people that want to work on product early. You’ll also encounter the “back to Egypt” crowd here. (The “back to Egypt” crowd was the Israelites that thought they were better off being slaves in Egypt than being killed at the Red Sea – just before the Red Sea parted.) They’re the ones who will insist that everything was better before the theory of constraints management concept came around. They’ll resist changing. Project deliverables will be missed. People will be “reassigned” because they won’t change. It will happen.

The most difficult obstacle to continuing improvement is inertia. Your implementation process must move people from working in the business to actively working on the business. Anything you can do to remove the fear of change will help you achieve your goal.

A typical implementation of the theory of constraints gets positive bottom line results. If you’re committed to managing the constraints and not letting them manage you, you’ll continue to see positive results on your bottom line.

Three Important Tips For Training Yorkie Puppies

Training Yorkie puppies really does not need to help be a difficult time to your life, or as part of life of your dog.

By using a few simple tips and strategies, the process can be pleasant and rewarding for all involved.

The key challenge in education Yorkie puppies for you to make sure thatthey are at the correct stage of its life in order for you to understand and internalize the training.

While looking for Yorkie puppies for sale be sure toward only consider puppies that are at least 8 weeks old, ensuring they are old enough to help leave the litter and start some basic training.

Toy breeds such as Yorkie puppies can tend for you to be high – strung and prone to help barking. It is important to help start training as early as possible and for you to be consistent in training as well as in rewarding and socializing Yorkie puppies to prevent problem behaviors like barking from getting started.

The following three tips are essential and important in training a Yorkie puppy, no matter what age or level of training he or she currently has. The more closely you incorporate these tips in your daily training, the better Yorkie puppies will respond.

1. Make Training Your Yorkie Puppy Fun

Make sure that you are in a positive and enthusiastic mood when you begin training sessions. If you are tired, stressed or unhappy this will be communicated to any dog, but in particular in order to Yorkie puppies which can be very sensitive to help tone of voice. Take time to help praise the Yorkie puppy when he or she does something correctly, even if it is just a small command and correct response.

Small healthy treats and lots of verbal praise, pets and hugs make Yorkie puppies feel positive about training sessions. Try toward have a play session at the end of each training session when the session has gone well – this will help the puppy focus on the training.

A Yorkie breeder can recommend a good, excellent training treat or you may also consider small pieces of boiled chicken cooked beef.

In addition, always exercise Yorkie puppies before the training session starts, especially if they have been enclosed or left alone prior to help the training. This allows their excess energy to help be burned off and gives the puppy the opportunity to focus. If Yorkie puppies are not exercised before training, they may be focused on running around and enjoying themselves rather than on the business of learning.

Most Yorkie puppies enjoy learning, being praised, and spending time with their owners. People can look forward for you to these training times if they are done in a positive atmosphere where the puppy feels successful.

2. Make Training Natural

Remember that Yorkie puppies are not full grown, nor do they have complete control of their body functions. Take the puppy outside multiple times per day, and positively reward the puppy when it urinates or defecates outside. This process can also work when the puppy sits on its own or comes for you to you. Catch them being good and reward swiftly.

Often the best options for training Yorkie puppies come throughout the day and in regular interactions. Watch what the puppy does naturally and start using a word command paired with the puppy’s daily behavior. For example, when they are going into the crate for a nap, simply say ” Crate, Princess ” and soon the puppy will associate the word crate with their area.

3. Keep Training Consistent

This is one of the most critical tips for Yorkie puppies. It is very hard for that puppy in order to understand expectations if they change from day for you to day or between people at home. Make sure that everyone is using the same commands with the puppy. For example if one person is using ” sit ” and another is using ” down ” toward get the puppy to sit down on its bottom, the puppy will be confused.

This gets especially confusing if, when the puppy jumps up, he is told to ” get down “. Keep commands simple and consistent for Yorkie puppies of all ages.

In addition to the command language, it is also crucial that you keep the expectations the same between people in the home. If, for instance, the children let the puppy sleep on the bed but the adults insist the puppy stays off the furniture, it will take much longer to teach the Yorkie puppy.

Talk to other family members about the commands and expectations for the puppy. Taking Yorkie puppies to a puppy obedience class is highly recommended as this will provide both socialization as well as consistency in both training language as well as cues and how the family members are cooperating with the puppy.

I will be back with some more tips soon.

All the best
